The simulo Driving Assessment Project

simulo is being developed at Northwestern's Laboratory for Intelligent Mechanical Systems as a set of software tools to investigate novel metrics for measuring distraction that results from performing secondary tasks while driving. The current software (written in C) provides basic functionality:

The current code base is being used to collect data, but adaptation to other projects will likely require modifications to the program. The source code is available via the project's page on sourceforge.net, by direct download or CVS.
